Sliding Sash Windproof Block For Aluminum Window Profiles Vibration Control And Sound Reduction
The Sliding Sash Windproof Block is designed for aluminum window profile systems that require additional support around the moving sash. It provides a compact buffering solution that helps control movement between sliding window components and can contribute to reduced vibration, wind penetration and operating noise.
In aluminum sliding windows, the sash moves along a dedicated track and needs sufficient clearance to operate smoothly. This clearance can become vulnerable when exposed to strong outdoor airflow. Wind pressure may cause the sash to move slightly against the frame or another sliding panel, resulting in vibration, rattling or unwanted sound.
This windproof block is positioned in the appropriate area of compatible aluminum profiles to provide an additional buffering interface. Its structure helps limit unnecessary movement while allowing the sliding sash to maintain its intended operating function.
Applications
Suitable for various aluminum window applications including residential sliding windows, balcony glazing, apartment windows, office windows and commercial architectural systems. Also ideal for window maintenance and refurbishment projects where original buffer components need replacement.
